Gerald Gordon, M.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr. Gordon is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease Medicine and has special interest in Travel Medicine and the treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. He received his training at the Columbia University of Physicians and Surgeons and at the University of Chicago Hospitals. He had faculty appointments at the University of Chicago, the Milton S. Hershey School of Medicine of the Penn State University, The Thomas Jefferson Medical School, and Bucknell University, and has served as President of the South Carolina Infectious Diseases Society.  Dr. Gordon has published extensively in the field of Infectious Disease Medicine and was selected as one of the “Best Doctors in America “ 2007-2008, 2009-2010, 2011-2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and as a Top Doctor in Internal Medicine by Castle and Connely  during these years.  He has been recognized by NCQA for treatment of diabetes, stroke and heart disease.

Dr. Gordon provides care in all aspects of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He provides consultative services in all aspects of Infectious Diseases including Travel Health and vaccinations.

 

Frank Mondschein, M.D.

Dr. Mondschein is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. Dr. Mondschein received his medical training at Hahnemann Hospital, served his internship and residencies at Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, and completed his Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship at Hahnemann Hospital. Dr. Mondschein came from Philadelphia, PA where he practiced internal medicine and was on the medical staffs at both Hahnemann University Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital. He joined Internal Medicine Associates in 2006 and expressed that “Aiken offers a better environment to practice medicine.”  Dr. Mondschein has been recognized by NCQA for treatment of diabetes.

Dr. Mondschein provides care for people in all aspects of Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine including  COPD, asthma, and other respiratory illnesses. His interests include tennis, science fiction games and movies, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Toole is a board certified Internal Medicine physician who provides care in all aspects of Internal Medicine.  From Aiken originally she is thrilled to return home to provide care for her home town.

 

She has special interests in Diabetes, Preventive Medicine, and Pulmonary Medicine.  After earning a Bachelor of Science degree at Wake Forest University, she earned her  Medical Degree at the Georgia campus of PCOM.  Dr. Toole completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

She enjoys playing the piano and violin and has interests in physical fitness,  Zumba, swimming, horsemanship and travel.

 

 

 

Ashley Toole, D.O.

Erin P. Beaudry, MSN, FNP-BC is a board certified family nurse practitioner who received her undergraduate training from Rhode Island  College and her Graduate training from the University of Rhode Island.  She joins IMAA with 9 years of experience treating a wide range of medical problems.

 

She enjoys reading, gardening, crocheting, and is an amateur stained glass enthusiast

Erin Beaudry, MSN, FNP-BC

Taylor Amanda Greene, PharmD BC ADM is a welcome addition to the IMAA family having earned  her Doctorate  of  Pharmacy, cum laude from Presbyterian College School of  Pharmacy.  Dr.  Greene is a certified pump trainer.  As diabetes teaching coordinator Taylor enjoys teaching patients with diabetes as a passion encouraging each person how to diabetes mellitus and understanding goals, treatment, need for diet management, medication management and how each person with diabetes can adapt to manage the challenges diabetes brings to each person. 

 

 

Taylor Amanda Greene, PharmD  BC-ADM

Candace (Carol) Kirby, FNP-BC

Carol Kirby FNP-BC earned her MSN in nursing from South University.  Carol has wide interests in caring for adults particularly with diabetes mellitus.  She had prior training at Southwestern Illinois College (associate degree of nursing), and American Sentinal Universtiy (bachelors degree of Nursing).

Carol served for 7 years in the Air Force as a C-130 serovac tech.
